Sprint segment table not showing (apple tv)

Hi All,

I havent been able to see any sprint segment leader tables on zwift in game on apple tv for past 2 weeks. Never had a problem before. They always popped up as normal automatically. Sorry if this has been covered but i could not see any issues on it lately.

I have looked at everything in settings and also force closed everything and reloaded on the apple tv to no avail.

I have noticed that the extra little table for the powers at different times seems to open now automatically but when i click that off, i still do not get the segment table appearing before sprints and afterwards with results and times

Not a big deal but i’d appreciate if anybody could tell me the error of my ways or otherwise.

Thank you very much :slight_smile:

not sure if this is an issue with Apple TV, but on PC if you have the power table open that shows your power at different time intervals, then the sprint/KOM leaderboards don’t show up at all. I’ve also experienced that when I turn off the power table during a ride, the leaderboards don’t always come back up later on (this happened in Paris most recently). Seems like there might be some bugs with how this works?

And, truly, why can’t both be displayed? There’s plenty of space.

Yes mike, I noticed the same. I can usually only see one or the other.

But before the sprint table was the default and then i could toggle between either, i.e toggle off the power table and then the sprint one would be active again.

seems like only the power is accessible for me now and it seems to be on as a default rather than selecting…only last 2 weeks and i don’t remember changing anything…

a change was made recently that would remember your last selection for the power table, so if you turn it on during a ride, the next time you start a ride it will still be there. I would assume if you turn it off, the next time it will remember and remain off.

ah ok, was unaware of that. I will try that…many thanks for your help :slight_smile:

@John_Red

I don’t see you call out the Action Bar at the bottom of the screen. Did you try using the Stonehenge-looking Toggle Side Display icon that flips through the options in the left column of the HUD?

Hi shuji,

Thanks for the response.

That is exactlythe button I always use to toggle on the apple tv. I was able to toggle between them no problem before. But not in last 2 weeks or so.

The power table turns off and on ok, but the sprint one does not come up on any subsequent sprints

Thanks

@John_Red
Hmm, ok. I’ve asked our team who are investigating.

If others are also seeing this same issue, please raise your hand in this thread.

I did some testing this morning. The ā€œStonehengeā€ toggle has 3 settings.

  1. Turn on ride/power stats
  2. Turn everything off
  3. Turn on leaderboards

So clicking it a 2nd time when turning off power stats turns the leaderboards back on.
@John_Red give this a try and see if its the same on Apple TV.

Im literally on the bike here Mike and just saw your message and tried it…

You are right, I did not know there were 3 functions to it…but i do now and its working fine now…don’tknow how it never was an issue for me before…feel silly now…

Thank you sir

Hey, I didn’t realize it had to be clicked again to turn on the leaderboards either, so don’t feel silly

The first place I would go seeking clarity about how it works would be the documentation, and the fact that the button has 3 possible states doesn’t seem very clear

Unless something changed; myself and others were having issues with this again in the past few weeks.

Toggling the sidebar with the Stonehenge would bring it back; but we would have to do it every single time a segment was coming up.

I had mentioned it in some thread on here within the past month, but unsure if I’ve noticed it really since then (but also not paying attention to it). One ride I do relies on them to appear, and that’s the only time I actually notice if it isn’t working.

that looks like the splits button, not the ride stats ā€œstonehengeā€ toggle? Oh now I see it mentioned at the end of the blurb… is that all they have on the ride stats toggle?

I always thought the ride stats were simply part of the splits feature, not a separate thing. If you don’t trigger a new split, then the ride stats are from the only ā€œsplitā€ which begins at the start of the activity. I haven’t engaged with that feature very much.

I still do t understand why both can’t be visible. I think on all platforms, with the possible exception of a phone, there is plenty of room.

@John_Red
Glad that’s cleared up!

@Paul_Southworth
Request has been put in to update that support article.

I think it would be pretty tight to fit both at the same time :man_shrugging:

I think the biggest issue is always not knowing what you have it set to.

I’d prefer there be a little ā€˜>’ on the side of the screen.
Click it; and it reverts to a ā€˜<’, but at least you know if SOMETHING should be visible… will be visible (and if it isn’t, it’s bugged)

Rider list on tablets for example (which… sucks when you can’t get it to function); where you can hide it away (but can’t on every other device because reasons… which IMO also needs changing)

This bug illustrates the bigger UX in that that you aren’t aware if it’s bugged, or if you have it hidden.

Meanwhile when I’ve accidentally hidden rider list on my iPad it’s almost impossible to get it to come back out.

Make it a click spot.
