I have my leaderboard visibility set to auto.
There are several sprint and KOM leadeboards that have short durations.
The shortest I’ve seen was today while riding with C. Cadence on Issendorf Express.
The Center Sprint leaderboard shows up right at the sprint start line, and dismisses even before the Power Up spinner stops.
You don’t even get to see where you rank in the Live Results or where you landed in your 90 Day PRs.
I suggest that when passing the arch for a sprint or KOM leaderboard that the leaderboard remains on screen at least through 2 cycles of “Live Results” and “90 Day PRs”.
I still can’t decide if this is all just a new bug or lots of historical bugs.
On my second ride last night I was getting a leaderboard listing for… a climb portal.
And I’d have to reset its visibility quite often for it to actually show the sprint I was on/going through. But even in the middle of nowhere the display was always up, which is also not normal.
Even on my first ride on Coast Crusher it kept showing segments on the other side of the map like Jarvis Sprint and KOM, Volcano, Hilly… all sorts of random stuff.
It needs to become visible 1km out from a segment first and foremost, and display itself for another 1/2 km or so past the segment unless there’s another segment ahead.
My personal wish is that it shows lifetime PR’s as well, which exist in Companion… why not in-game?
90 days listings might be interesting for those that attack segments at a heavy rate, but I don’t think that’s the vast majority of users; knowing your actual PR and not a long list of group rides through said segment.
It’s just reasonably common to have a blank page entirely because it’s been that long since I’ve last been through a segment in some direction; at which point… I’d rather see my best at minimum vs. nothing.
On that note I wish it was possible to see ADZ leaderboard for the entire lap, with the sector stats being trimmed down (or maybe an option to choose one or the other).
Then you could see if it’s worth killing yourself for the rest of the lap or if some bot / weight doper has the jersey.
I seem to recall on a recent Climb Portal that I had tapped the Stats icon prior to entering the Portal, and the Climb Portal sector stats did not appear. It showed some leaderboard well into the Climb Portal.
I tapped the Stats icon again, and the sector stats showed.
I did not tap it again to see if it would cycle back to the leaderboard, but I will later today on a ride to see what happens.
I don’t want to kill off the sector stats completely, but have a smaller view of them along with the leaderboard.
I don’t need to see all the previous sector stats, those are done, just the upcoming 1 or two and maybe the previous sector. That should free up some space for a leaderboard top 5 times?
As I suspected, tapping the Stats icon in the Climb Portal cycled through sector stats, additional stats, leaderboard, and nothing displayed.
I do understand your desire, but based on previous comments from Zwift, one could infer that there are no plans to improve anything in Climb Portal.
Yesterday I rode the Loop de Loop de Loop route.
The Monceau Sprint leaderboard disappeared even before it scrolled down to my placement, less than 2 seconds after crossing the arch banner.
What good is having the leaderboard if it isn’t visible long enough to see your placement or your previous results?
Why is leaderboard visibility duration so different depending on which segment or KOM it is for?
