Used AirScreen (app) to mirror iOS to FireStick for the first time today. On both Zwift and my Garmin (so talking both ANT+ and BLE as I use CABLE to transfer ANT+ to BLE for Zwift but still record data by ANT+ on Garmin), all sensors (power, speed/cadence, and HR) were dropping out regularly. Zwift does say that “wireless video transmitters” such as ChromeCast and AirPlay can cause signal interference. I have to believe that’s the case and not that all 3 sensors need a new battery at the same time when they were all working perfectly well just a few days ago. Anybody else experienced this issue? Found a solution?
Mirroring appears to be the problem definitively. Tried it again at the beginning of this morning’s run and both HR and foot pod were dropping out. Exited mirroring and didn’t have another dropout the rest of the run. Solution? Apple TV 4th generation on the way.
