Says I'm disconnected, but am I?

Logged on today and went through the latest update. After 15 - 20 min I noticed at the top of the screen it said I was disconnected, this disappeared and then returned but……….I could still see everybody, I could see those behind me getting PBs through a sprint finish, nothing was different. So was I disconnected ? This is the 1st time this has ever happened.

You probably had some kind of network interruption but maybe not long enough to really matter. A network interruption like that can happen anywhere between your equipment and Zwift’s servers. It’s usually something happening in the home or your local ISP but not always. The error message doesn’t tell you where the problem happened.

That disconnected banner popping up can definitely be confusing, especially when everything else in‑game looks normal. I had a look at your account and noticed you’re connected via the ANT+ FE‑C protocol with a dongle, but I did see a couple of Zwift server disconnect alerts today, October 23, 2025, which lines up with what you experienced.

A quick network reboot usually clears things up. If the banner keeps showing up after that, feel free to drop us a note at support@zwift.com so we can dig in further with you.

I believe this has been happening every ride I’ve done for the last 3-4 weeks, but I see everyone riding so not sure what kind of bug this is. It’s unlikely that I have a network issue every ride, this never happened prior.

Thanks for the response. I will try re-booting my broadband and see how we go.
