Save Timeout issue

Over the last month or so after each ride I have been having the “Save Timeout” error after ending a ride. Sometimes these rides disappear for good while some rides are cut off early.

During the ride there are no apparent issues. No internet drop outs or issues using other apps etc during this time .

There have been multiple zwift updates during this time and have reinstalled a few times. I am using a iPad 8th gen on iPadOS 16.1.1.

I had been using the same set up for the last year and a half without issue!

Any ideas?

I don’t know if it will help but your iPad can run iPadOS 18.1.1 and should be updated

I hope you don’t have Zwift installed on another device like a phone

I do have installed on my phone and a PC, I guess this is an issue?

You can only have one instance of the game logged in and running at once. If your phone had the app running in the background, or if it were actively running on the PC, that can interfere with it on the iPad. Usually the mobile devices are the problem, unless you force quit the app. On the PC you probably know whether the game is running or not but on the phone it’s easy to accidentally leave it running. I’d remove it from the phone.

In this case, I suggest you follow the steps in this article to reboot your WiFi router. As @Paul_Southworth is saying, remember that multiple sessions can cause several issues including overall poor performance, forced logouts, and issues with your data from previous sessions being overwritten.
