Only ridden road bikes and have only made it to 10-speed. I just purchased a bike on ebay that is a cross bike and has this cassette: e*thirteen 9-34T
I am still learning about XD…I understand if I put this type of cassette on my H3, I need to change the Freehub drive.
Question:
For the H3, can I just use a road 11-speed cassette? Is the spacing the same? I understand, i think, the 11-tooth minimum to use the standard drive. A PG1130 cassette is a lot less $$ than one of the XD cassettes; particularly this 9-34 from TheHive
