RX 9070 XT not recognized for graphics profile — only RX 9070 listed

Hello!

I’m running Zwift on an AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT and noticed that Zwift does not appear to have a specific graphics profile for the RX 9070 XT.

Digging around the executable, it looks like Zwift has a list of GPUs used for graphics profiling. The list contains:

  • RX 9070
  • RX 7900 XTX
  • RX 7900 XT
  • RX 7900 GRE
  • RX 7800 XT
  • etc.

However, the RX 9070 XT seems to be missing. The logs show that Zwift correctly detects the GPU as an RX 9070 XT, but it appears that there isn’t a corresponding model/profile match.

Could Zwift please add the RX 9070 XT to the GPU profiling so that it can be properly recognized and assigned the ultra graphics profile?

According to a search of trainerdx.com it looks like game versions from 1.89 onward are assigning the Ultra profile to the 9070 XT as well as the 9070 so they may be matching a substring. You could check by uploading a log file to TrainerDX.

Ah, it seems the problem was on my side. Went down a rabbit hole but reinstalled it on a fresh partition and it worked fine. Thanks! Sorry for the false alarm.
