My runpod doesn’t show up in the companion app on iphone or ipad. I’m pretty sure it’s not connected to another device, since I tried to connect in the companion app with all my other devices turned off. I even killed the zwift app to be sure it wasn’t connected in the background.
Hi @one_bigly! Welcome to the forums. Jose here from Zwift Support.
It sounds like you’ve done some solid troubleshooting already! If your Zwift RunPod isn’t showing up in the Companion app on your iPhone or iPad, here are a few things you can try:
1- Check Bluetooth Connections – Ensure your RunPod isn’t connected to another device. Sometimes, even if other devices are off, a previous connection might still interfere.
2- Restart Your Devices – Try restarting both your iPhone/iPad and the RunPod to refresh connections.
3- Reset the RunPod: Remove and reinsert the battery to perform a hard reset.
4- Make sure both apps are running the latest versions.
5- Check Local Network Permissions – On iOS, go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network and ensure Zwift has access.
6- Try a Fresh Pairing – Open Zwift on your main device, go to the Pairing Screen, and see if the RunPod appears there before checking the Companion app.
