Right Zwift Play Controller Not Working – No Blue Light

Hi,

I’m located in Norway and having an issue with my right Zwift Play controller. It does not turn on and I cannot get the blue light at all.

What I’ve tried:

• Hard reset (holding Z button for 30 seconds)

• Charging via USB-C (confirmed cable and charger work)

• Removing Bluetooth pairings and reinstalling Zwift and Companion

The left controller works fine, but the right one seems completely dead.

Has anyone experienced this? Any suggestions before I contact support?

Thanks in advance!

Sounds like you’ve done the basic troubleshooting steps so now contacting support would be the way to go.

Did you ever get a solution for the controller not working?

I have a similar issue with my right controller working, but the left controller does not work after performing all the troubleshooting options that you identified above.

I have contacted Support, and I am still waiting on a reply from them.

Thanks,

Scott,

I had the same problem recently – my right controller worked fine, but the left one wouldn’t respond even after trying all the troubleshooting steps. I contacted Support, and they ended up sending me a replacement after about a week. I returned the old one, and the new controller works perfectly now.

Hopefully, you’ll get a quick resolution too!

Reidar,

Appreciate the quick reply. I am glad Support got you back to riding so quickly.

Thanks,

Scott

Feb 2026 and I am seeing this issues with my Zwift controller on my Zwift Ride. I contacted customer support and they seemed as if they would maybe do a replacement and then they went dark. I tried riding today and the Zwift worked well for 20 minutes and then the right controller went from intermittent to full fail. I again tried the trouble shooting. Now I am done with bike for the day because the controller won’t turn on.

Has anyone on this thread gotten it resolved? Given the terrible customer service. I am considering boxing it back up and returning it.

Thanks for reading and hoping someone has a positive outcome on this.
