I use the rider distance indicators when I’m out front pulling in a ride, race, or TTT.
It helps me to know if I’m losing a teammate or drafter I want to help keep at an ideal distance, or if they’re gaining and I have room to increase my watts.
I also enjoy riding in the chase view instead of the third person view.
The indicators don’t currently display in chase or other views.
Would it be possible to add a per-user toggle to allow these to display in views other than third person?
Even a simple drop-down setting like Normal - third person view, Extended - adds chase and other views, or Off for those who don’t want them showing when things get crowded or at all?
A related feature request - showing friends or teammates indicators “always on top” of other riders’ indicators when things get crowded, or with greater opacity, or in a different color (eg. teammates or friends’ indicators in gray, orange, purple - a color other than pacer bots), or a combination of those so they’re not hidden in the mix. It would help maintain pace and prevent losing friends when passing large pacer bot groups.
