Hey Fliippo Ganna fans!
INEOS Grenadiers’ double world time trial champion – Filippo Ganna – has announced that he will attempt to break the UCI Hour Record timed by Tissot. His assault on the record will take place at the Grenchen Velodrome, Switzerland on 8 October 2022 at 8pm CEST.
The 26-year-old Italian will need to cover more than 55.548 kilometres to break the current world record, held by Ganna’s INEOS Grenadiers team mate and Performance Engineer Dan Bigham. Ganna, sporting the UCI rainbow bands for a second consecutive year, has consistently proven himself one of the fastest cyclists on the planet against the clock, so it was only a matter of time before he chose to take on the UCI Hour Record timed by Tissot.
As part of this UCI Hour Record timed by Tissot attempt Zwift will host [two exclusive training rides with Ganna the week prior to the event where fans can join and ride along.] This September 30 ride is the second of two. (The at Home Cycling & Running Virtual Training App)
