Hello, I have noticed since the last upgrade that the RoboPacer rides no longer have their relevant distance on when choosing from the home page anymore. Is this an oversight, an error or just a simple change. While many may know any give distance of the rides I have no idea & need to nip over to the routes page to find out how far a single lap is before deciding which to use.
I have just updated my IPad to 1.101 and can still see distance and elevation at bottom of each RoboPacer Home Screen tile.
I’m on the same but only get w/kg, elevation & how many are riding.
It seems the cards are on a “phased roll-out” over a few weeks from the post here:
Game update v 1.101 [November 2025] - What’s New? / Zwift Game - Zwift Forums
It might be that you don’t yet have the updated cards from that phased roll-out? It seems the cards can be turned on or off for someone on the 1.101 build maybe?
You could be correct, I’ve no idea myself. All I know is I used to have the distances & after an update I have better looking boxes but not the same information. It’s not a big deal just something I noticed.
Yeah, I think you might be on the updated tiles, maybe send a screenshot of what you’re seeing?
Yeah, that looks like the new cards, and you have a good point about the robopacer info. Just showing the elevation with no indication of the distance can be misleading when the “flatter” robopacer is on a longer course than the “hilly” robo pacer for instance.
Thanks, yes I’m still on old layout not new layout.
I can see that, because of dynamic pacing, that elevation might be useful so riders can gauge possible amount of power changes due to gradient. I would however have thought, if this is the reason elevation is still shown, that elevation and distance are more useful than elevation alone?
I wonder/hope that once you select RoboPacer you will then continue to see the existing route map, which includes distance, before starting the ride.
Personally I’m not too bothered whether I do one lap of 20 miles or four laps of 5 miles. I really now only use them for an easy pre event warm up and am more interested in Pace/Power rather than route distance.
Yeah, for sure, for me personally I want to minimize dynamic pacing on the robopacer rides, so always pick the flatter of the two robopacers. Just showing the elevation gain with no distance won’t always result in picking the pacer with the overall flatter route given some routes are a lot longer than others etc.. The good news is I tend to know which routes are flatter, so I’ll still be able to pick the correct one, but newer Zwifters with the same goals might not.
I’ve seen the distance and listed speed go away. An elevation listed with no distance isn’t useful in determining how hilly a route may be. Also, if I’m looking to do a longer ride I’d rather not choose a short and see the same thing over and over again. I’m not sure how giving us less information is an improvement. Now I have to keep selecting routes just to get to that info. … maybe that’s the intent, to keep us clicking around.
Pretty sure that is not their intent
But overall I do have the same problem with the change with regards to robo pacer cards.
