We have multiple Zwift users in our household. We use the same computer (same Zwift application) but have different user accounts, and different bikes, trainers, heart rate monitors, cadence sensors….
Each time one of us logs into Zwift we have to manually search for and re-pair all of these devices.
Could Zwift please remember, and upon log in, automatically connect to the set of devices each rider uses?
So which user is it currently saving all the sensors for ?
I know it does it automatically for at least one so I would have thought it would be automatic for all, especially as you are not changing bikes etc.
It takes a while to auto pair you look at the screen for a while, the cadence and power and heartrate come up first on mine then it takes quite a bit longer to find the resistance, you then get a 5 second countdown timer which I guess gives you time to change something and it all goes through without a search or pressing a single button.
Neither/none.
When we switch users the Zwift app may be searching for the “other” set of devices. But nothing connects automatically.
You didn’t mention what you are running the game on, but if it’s a PC or Mac you could try creating different logins at the OS level so everyone has their own set of preferences. Honestly this part of the game doesn’t work very well for me either but that might be worth trying. Also power off any trainers that aren’t being used.
PC. Good idea for creating multiple logins. Not sure it would actually be much less painful that way but I think I’ll try it to see if it works if nothing else.
Usually it’s one person using Zwift at a time, so all the “other” equipment is powered off. When we do ride together I have to be careful about the order we turn things on to get them paired to the correct computer.
