Recruitment Fraud Alert [November 2021]

What is recruitment fraud?

Recruitment fraud is a sophisticated scam offering fake job opportunities to unsuspecting job seekers. The aim of recruitment fraud is typically either to obtain money or your personal and/or financial information.

It has come to our attention that there may be criminals posing as Zwift recruiters online. These schemes typically originate with fraudulent emails claiming to be from Zwift recruiting personnel or with fake job advertisements on unaffiliated websites.

This type of fraud is normally carried out through online services such as false websites, or through fake emails claiming to be from the company. The criminals often request recipients to provide sensitive personal information and to make payments as part of their fake recruiting process. Zwift will never ask for any financial commitment from a candidate as a pre-employment requirement.

How to identify recruitment fraud:

  • All Zwift jobs will be posted on our career site:
  • Zwift will never ask for your personal financial or banking information or require any financial commitment as part of our candidate search or application process.
  • We will not ask you to purchase equipment or supplies as part of your onboarding.
  • No job offers will be made at Zwift without a formal interview process.
  • If you receive an email from a sender that does not contain the address, please treat it as fraudulent.

Please do not:

  • Disclose your personal or financial details to anyone you do not know.
  • Send money or download software to explore job opportunities with our company. Zwift will never ask for money transfers or payments from applicants to secure a job as an employee or contractor — and will not ask applicants to download or purchase any software.
  • Engage in any further communication if you believe the communication may be fraudulent.
