Random crashes

Hi, my last three rides have completely crashed. First on Saturday 21st February and two today. There’s no warning, the trainer still seems to be connected as the resistance feels the same.

I’m running an Elite Direto with PC using ant+ if that helps.

please list the specs of the PC. There are many people having issues with HD 520 graphics and the fix is to update the driver.

Thanks for reply. I think it’s UHD GRAPHICS 600

What OS?

Windows 11 home with intel celeron J2415 2GHz. 12GB RAM.

Hope this is the right info needed

I haven’t heard about any crashes on systems using the 7th-10th generation Intel integrated graphics recently, but if you want to try the very latest driver, it is this:

With the previous 6th generation CPU, it’s like everyone is getting crashes.

I would love to know if that driver helps you or not.

Thanks - really appreciate it. Have installed and will try in a couple of days. Will let you know

I’ve just done a short workout on Zwift and this seems to have done the job - no crashing!!!

later in the week I’ve time for a longer workout so that should see if it’s a proper fix.

Thanks so much Paul

So, just done a long workout and have had no problems whatsoever.

Paul- seems that your solution has completely solved the problem. Thanks very much indeed.

Hi Paul,

I did update to the newest drivers on a 6th Gen. Unfortunately it did not fix Zwift.

Thanks

Sorry I do not have any other suggestions. The updated driver seems to help most people but there have been a couple that reported continuing problems. When you check the driver version being used, what does it say?

30.0.100.9805

It looks like you did not install the updated driver. It should be 31.0.101.2115

my bad. that is the version I used to have. it is indeed 31.0.101.2115 now

If it’s not stable with that driver then I don’t have any other suggestions other than run the game on something else and hope that it gets sorted out
