Race for us older and heavier riders

Doctor or safebreaker? :grinning:

Get jammers they are tight and do not limit you when swimming. I wore speedos way back when and gave it no thought at all. Was much more fit then so now wearing jammers is not a big deal to me. As far as weight goes I do not weight myself before every ride. And at my age it is so easy to put on weight over the holidays or vacations so the weight I list is my weight plus or minus 2 pounds.

I would never weight dope or height dope which I have read would help too. I think as you get older a variation in weight is more common and I do not feel that someone that had a good holiday and put on a few pounds and does not change their weight in Zwift is cheating. I would think that especially in the A and B category that if you are typically in the top 10 that they would be more detailed in listing their weight. Of course their weight is probably more likely to drop rather than increase. I think that it is sad that a person would feel good about a successful race where they cheated.

My Zwift goal for the past 3 years is a sub 60 min Alp ride.
My FTP is 225 or 2.9 - 3.0 w/kg.
I do VO2 max work outs, Zone 2 and recently incorporated the swimming and 5 min threshold intervals

I’m working to be able to hold 240 (3.2 w/k) for an hour.
I don’t want to get 3.2 w/k by lowering my wt.

Even though I’ve not reached my goal, friends IRL rides have noticed improvement.
