Question about trainer difficulty in events

Hello everyone.

I ride at 50% trainer difficulty because I like semi-realistic climbs and changing gears. Today I did a time trial event and noticed something weird. I found out my trainer difficulty was at 0% during the event. I noticed I was climbing without any change of cadence or power.

My question is this : Can race organizers put the trainer difficulty at 0% for events? Or were my settings messed up for some reason? Thanks for the help.

ERG/Resistance is bugged in the latest Zwift update 1.1040 (156617) when using Bluetooth connection. Wait for a fix.

Pretty sure organisers can force 100% TD, no idea about anything lower.

Organizers can set a minimum TD value but as mentioned above, this is probably a bug in 1.104

The actual setting/numeric value was reset to 0%? If it’s the bug being reported, is putting the TD setting back up at some other percent before a ride, the workaround for now ?

Here is an update.

It was definitely not the race organizers that put this setting. It is a bug caused by the last update. Trainer difficulty in climbs and ERG mode don’t work at all. According to information in this forum, the workaround is to use the option to bridge the sensors to the Zwift Companion app. I installed Companion on my phone and I used the option and it effectively worked. I was able to do a workout like usual.
