Purchasing Zwift click Australia

I am also an Australian wanting to part way with cash to get access to this without having to buy a whole new trainer.

Looking forward to some positive news soon!

Will this ever happen?

Looks like it has just become available via Wahoo in Aus ($129.95 AUD), haven’t tried to order it yet.

do not buy zwift through wahoo - i purchased the zwift click and cog unit, through wahoo as a distributor in australia. the click has stopped working, zwift (through their support pages) state the battery does not get replaced, however zwift will not honour a warranty here in australia (they do not ship here - and rather rudely just state that is that with no further resolution). so i have reached out to wahoo - they state they do not sell the click and i should talk with zwift… not very useful help from either company.

Curious if you’ve had any resolution on this. Australian consumer law is quite clear I on this, assuming you purchased this through Wahoo Australia directly and not a grey market import. The retailer is has a responsibility to ensure that the products are of an acceptable quality.

Essentially, wahoo must ensure that the entire product you purchased from them works for a reasonable period of time. Which is as long as a reasonable person expects such a product to last. Doesn’t matter if it’s a bundle of items them make and items someone else makes, the retailer is responsible for the products they sell.

After further discussion with wahoo they have advised they will forward a replacement click. It is unfortunate if it is just a flat battery in the click - easily replaced but impacts warranty coverage if you do yourself. May explain why it wasn’t offered as a troubleshooting step.
Click yet to arrive however it appears resolved at this point.

Whaaat…

New click arrived today…
Eat my words re wahoo

It’s now November 2024, and you still can’t by a stand alone Zwift Click in Australia. Looks like Wahoo will sell you a cog & click pack, but not simply the click by itself. It makes no sense to me - I’m sure plenty of people would buy them if they could. Very disappointing.
