For everyone else… can you share where to buy the Click standalone?
I’m also interested to understand how to purchase the Zwift Click standalone. Can you please advise?
Hi @Peter_Eugster, welcome to the forums! This is Monica. I wanted to let you know that we will notify you as soon as the Zwift Click is available again. If you have any other questions, please feel free to reach out to us at support@zwift.com.
What is the status of the Zwift Click individual purchase???
See the comment above yours
Hi, can you please notify me as well as soon as it’s available again? Thanks.
Hi @Stephen_Trap, welcome to the forums!
Jose here from Zwift. I appreciate your interest in our products!
We don’t have an exact date at the moment when they will be available. My advice would be to check our website periodically so that when they are available you can purchase yours. Also, on the page, if you see a button that says notify me, I would recommend that you press it so that you will be notified when they are available.
This isn’t actually possible due to it being deleted as a product from the site

It’s pretty annoying because if you bought the bundle and the Click on its own dies, then you have to spend £80 to buy a new one and it comes with a Cog you don’t need or want.
They’ll likely say “buy the Play controllers” but that’s not what a lot of people would want given they don’t go on flat bar bikes, only drops. The only option left would be to go back to regular shifting on a cassette.
The problem would come when those with a Zwift Ride (like me) have the handlebar controllers die from sweat ingress have no option but to buy either a new cog and click, or buy new controllers which will just fail again.
A Click virtual shifter on its own would be what I’d end up using, and the old controllers can just be there as somewhere else to put my hands.
At least if the Cog breaks (like both of mine have fallen apart) I just used a single speed conversion kit as that’s basically what it is.
In that scenario I expect you would get a free replacement shifter
Is this Still available as an add on for my Zwift bike?
Hi @Patrick_Meade,
Welcome to the forums! This is Monica from the Zwift team. I understand how important it is for you to know if the Zwift Click is still available for adding to your Zwift bike. I’d like to inform you that we are still working on making the Zwift Click available as a standalone product again.
In the meantime, if you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us at support@zwift.com.
Any updates yet on Click availability? Elite is very soon going to be releasing firmware updates for more models of their existing trainers. I would like to try virtual shifting. What a strange item to have supply issues on.
I had an issue with the CLICK. Battery died. Thought it would be a simple process to replace.
Um No Its not easy. So I had thought about buying another click. Nope. Not available. I did see that the Play controllers are available and do virtual shifting (and more). I really did not “need” the other functionality, however the big PLUS for the play is that they are USB rechargeable… And the Play controllers were marked down to 49 Bucks US. So I decided to go that route. I have also started using the added buttons to do steering and braking (when I need to get back behind the fence of doom). Also power ups are easier to deal with.
Just letting other road riders know this might actually be a better alternative to CLICK.
Agree with this post. I posted original about not being able to buy click as a solo unit. I have ultimately gone to the Play paddles.
Thanks, but there are numerous reasons for having zero interest in the Play aside from saving a bit of money, including:
- I already have steering in the form of the Elite Rizer, which I like for both it’s ergonomics, and of course the actual gradient emulations.
- I don’t want or need braking, and that seems to be a thing that can short out (from sweat or somesuch) and just cause problems.
- I have a Campagnolo shifting system, and installing a Play on these setups I’ve heard is kind of a bodge.
- I have a touchscreen laptop right in front of me running Zwift – hitting powerups, rideons, or menu items is not a concern. Also have a bunch of this redundancy of course in the companion app.
Given the flood of knock-off remote controls for all sorts of appliances and devices out there, I’m a bit surprised it hasn’t yet been figured out how to make a doo-hickey with a couple buttons to shift up and down that works with Zwift.
