I was hoping next Tour de Zwifts for runners would work more the same as it does for cyclists, and more of how this worked last year, i.e. that one progressively unlocks the new kit instead of just receiving the whole thing after doing only one event. Honestly this was quite disappointing, as it takes away the award at the end and the satisfaction of having earned it and instead turns this more into an “everybody wins!” type of setup.
I still really like this event series! It’s a nice challenge, gets you where you might otherwise not have gone (hello steep roads!) but I would just prefer that the reward doesn’t come up front.
