Problem getting an irl ride into companion app

Hi all.

I Went out on a cold and soggy ride today but it’s not appearing on my companion app. Is there a problem connecting with Strava?

Strava had an outage recently due to AWS and I had to reconnect it today to Samsung health to pull my rides into that app, I bet the same could be happening with outdoor rides. Try reconnecting to your Garmin or wahoo with the companion app and see if that pulls in the ride. I haven’t been outdoors since the Strava outage so not sure if it has been working still for me.

Outdoor rides don’t get synced to Zwift through Strava. It’s through Garmin, Wahoo or Hammerhead that they get synced.

So the sync issue is with the data coming from Wahoo. So I was looking on the wrong place. Thanks Gents.

I’ll re-work the connections.

So. The ride appears in my Wahoo elemnt app but not in the Wahoo app… is this the path of the data? The phone connects to the wahoo elemnt as usual.

The ride still doesn’t appear in the companion app but is in Strava and Elemnt. Weird, it’s not done this before. It has also NOT appeared in Ride with GPS…. Even weirder!

Any ideas, anyone?

You need to get it working with the Wahoo app. Talk to Wahoo support if you can’t get that going. You may be able to add it manually but that’s not the long term solution if no rides are uploading.

Thanks Paul.

Seems it was actually a password reset required for the Wahoo account which seems to be why it wasn’t letting anything in or out.

Once reset, everything moved as it should.
