Preregister with one Group, but ride with a different Group

I 'preregister" for an event ride with one group, but when the ride starts I am placed in a different group. Why?

  • example 1 … I have tried to join the TdZ in group B (when possible), but always get placed in A.
  • example 2 … I registered last night for group D. This morning when the ride started, I was in B.

What is your process for registering for a event? do you use the companion app?

yes, that is what I have been doing. I click the ‘plus’ icon to turn it into the ‘check’ icon (which then gives me options to set alarms and such

that is Strange If you select the correct Cat in the App you should be in that Cat.

with over 160 races I have not had that happen.

Take a screen shot of your app when you select your next race and save it then if you go into the next race in the wrong cat you should open a ticket with all that info.
