I noticed on my ride this morning that the highlighted section of the power zone distribution bar at any given moment is not synched with the displayed power. It looked like the displayed power was averaged over some number of seconds, while the highlighted power zone was not averaged, or averaged over some shorter amount of time? As I increased power and moved from one zone to the next, the highlighted zone on the power bar would change, but it would take a handful of seconds for the displayed number of watts to change.
I realize this isn’t a huge deal. I was doing a zone 2 ride (and this was my first ride with the new HUD updates), and so I was probably paying closer attention to the power zone distribution bar than most people, but it would still be nice if the displayed power and the highlighted section of the power zone bar were using the same information, and therefore synched up with each other.
