Power Underreporting

Zwift appears, since the last update, to be underreporting my power data from kickr bike by at least 40-50 watts. Is this a known issue? Is there a fix?

Zwift doesn’t determine your power, it just reports what the trainer sends it. So you might want to check your trainer for issues, or updates.

Thx. Have an inquiry in there too.

Original Kickr Bike?

I haven’t noticed anything with mine (fingers crossed). Wahoo support is usually great, so they should get back to you.

v2 here. I think I ended up fixing it by unplugging the thing for a while and also turning off the erg smoothing (saw someone else had done that and it seemed to work - even though he, like me, never uses erg mode). I’m not entirely positive it’s all better, but it seems much closer to what has been traditionally reported by trainers and power meters over the years.

I was wrong. Power numbers totally messed up on zwift as compared to what’s happening on the screen. Average power is at least 60 watts low. Every time I drop below 270 watts, I get shot off the back of groups as if I’m braking. It’s a total cluster.
