Today was a very windy day in Winthrop, Maine. I was riding the ZER Tuesday Base Miles ride when the power went out. Computer is on a UPS, and house is on a generator with an automatic transfer switch with about a 10 sec transfer time. The computer and my ZWIFT connection and therefore my ride were not affected. The Wahoo Kickr, however, was not on a UPS protected circuit, and was subjected to the transfer switch fluctuations. Once running smoothly on the backup generator, and the Kickr sensing inputs again, I was awarded 4 Power Achievements, The Circuit Breaker-700 watts, the Just Scrape It-800 watts, the Blowdrier-900 watts, and the Premier Power-1000 watts. Never in my cycling life could I hit those power levels. Don’t deserve them, but I guess they cannot be removed.
