Polar Vantage cardio strain run vs bike

Hi.
Just got myself a Polar Vantage V2, to better monitor my cardio strain, recovery, sleep etc. Using Polar Flow.

I have always been under the impression that if same workout time, running vs cycling, the strain would be higher for running, assuming that HR is about the same for both activities.

I’m a little puzzled now when analyzing my cardio load.

If i compare a run and a cycling, both about the same time in duration. Run have slightly higher max HR and slightly higher avg HR but cycling session still gives a higher strain score.

Is this how it should be? Or is something wrong? At least it contradicts my personal belief a little bit but I’m still not too old yet to accept “new truth”

Thanks
