Hi,
My Polar h9 HRM is connecting but says no signal.
When I use my phone there are no issues but with my laptop it stays at no signal.
Ive tried deleting the connection through my phone aswell so there are no other devices connected but no success.
I’m connected through bluetooth and a bridge through my phone and the companion app.
Thanks
A couple of attempts to try:
-
New battery…even if not that old you may have a bad one.
-
Remove the battery from the module and put a thumb over each connecting tab. Hold for 15 seconds (at least). For some models across different brands, this completely drains the device and resets. Insert the battery and try connecting.
#2 has helped me quite a bit.

Thanks for the reply, I’ve tried these things but no success yet, I’m still able to connect through my phone via screenshare so there is no issue with the HRM. But once my laptop is involved it keeps saying no signal.
Your laptop and phone may be competing. Try a USB Bluetooth (TP-Link UB500) dongle (disable your onboard BT) or try using Ant+ via a dongle on the Laptop. BT can be finicky sometimes.
All my Polar HRMs (H6, H10, OH1) often seem to go No signal in Zwift after riding for a while, none of the obvious issues apply and they work fine with other apps (and the trainer connection over BLE stays up as well).
