Please reinstate U16 without social features

I get COPPA is difficult on platforms. I really do as a dev myself. Why can’t you just disable chat? That should satisfy the requirements. How else can you really interact with people in a substantial way?

Rouvy still supports 13+ but disables social features until 16 so I’ll be setting up my son with that now that I just got a Zwift Ride he can easily adjust for his size. Can’t say it’s not an attractive platform I’ll be keeping an eye on now that he’ll be using it at least.

Would be nice to just set him up with a Zwift account and we both stay here, even if it means paying for a membership for him, which I’ll have to with Rouvy that requires one even for U16 for riding more than 20km/mo.

pretty sure it already was disabled for u16 accounts, not sure why they stopped supporting kids… maybe there was a legal action we aren’t aware of that spooked their lawyers?

They said it was to reduce regulatory compliance costs.
