Yesterday I rode an easy, mostly flat route in Watopia. The top-right gradient made sense (current section I was riding), but the **bottom graph doesn’t seem to relate to what I’m feeling on the road.
What do the different colours (green/blue/yellow, etc.) represent?
Where am I on that graph at any given time?
I also see rider names popping up—some overtaking me, some going the other direction—but I can’t tell how that relates to the elevation profile.
Clearly I’m missing something basic. Any simple explanation would be appreciated.
More specifically, it’s your power and HR (the thin red line above) over the latest 10 minutes, the present moment at the right end. The colours represent the power zones (same as elsewhere in the UI so gray for Z1, blue for Z2, green for Z3, orange for Z4 and red for Z5).
One small addition: should you not wish to see your performance data, you can toggle it either from the action bar (find the Toggle Data Graph action) or by pressing ‘g’ on the keyboard (‘g’ for ‘graph’).
Thankyou soo much!! That makes more sense - but to me its not really useful given your HR & power zone is already in the top left box. Yes I know how to toggle it on/off.
It’ll show you a graphic representation of the your recent history, while the top left box is just the current single statistics at the point in time that you look at it. It can be useful if you’re doing intervals or some other training and want to remind yourself of what you’ve done so far.
The minimap elevation graph is tiny though and difficult to make sense of especially with longer routes or bigger climbs. I proposed adding a third state (route elevation) to the existing two (power+HR and nothing) for the graph space before the minimap thing was changed and I still think it would be a good idea. (It would also allow for moving the climber to the bottom of the minimap instead and making it permanently visible, to allow properly seeing the local gradient changes, also around mostly flat and even downhill sections.)
