@Mac_Johansen you should now be opted out. ![]()
Please just wait a few minutes for the change to propagate from our end to your client, but after that the change should be visible after logging out and logging back in.
@AlanZ Are you able to opt me opt too please?
Since I asked that question nearly 3 weeks ago and did not get an answer, I’ll take the negative reply as affirmation that it won’t happen.
So, @AlanZ, go ahead and opt me out as well, please.
@AlanZ, please opt me out of the Personalized Recommendations too, for all the reasons mentioned by other users. Thank you!
Thank you.
@Wayne_D_Agostini @Dan_Kothlow @Hagit_Sans_Chaine you are all now opted out. ![]()

Thank you.
Just came off a 7 day MTB stage race (BC Bike Race), and after two days of rest the prompt text says I am in “moderate detraining”, while my status is still “productive” and yesterday it was “overreaching” so… am I productive or detraining? Seems to me after a 7 day stage race 2 days of rest shouldn’t hit detraining, particularly if I was overreaching yesterday…

Great job completing BC bike race, how did it go?
Fantastic! They are moving from 7 day to a 5 day format next year so this was the last 7 day one. I was wrecked after 4 days, so that’s fine with me
I don’t have an XC bike, so I brought my 170mm freeride bike, which was a bit much for the course tbh, but still fun. Happy to chat in more detail about BCBR if anyone wants to DM me.
From the perspective of personalized recommendations, I had tapered the week prior, but still started in “productive” status, on the 3rd day it switched to “overreaching” which was fair, and it stayed “overreaching” until it was over. This is why I find it funny the prompt text talks about detraining… I mean I was “overreaching” yesterday and now I’m detraining?
Edit: I went on a ride today, and now I’m overreaching again. So the “moderately detraining” prompt text still seems wrong.
@AlanZ Please opt me out.
@FlandriaBikes.com you are now opted out too ![]()

Fantastic! Thanks.
Hi everyone,
Thanks for all the feedback here. We really appreciate you taking the time to share what’s working, what isn’t, and where the experience feels disruptive. We especially appreciate the time of those we spoke with to learn more.
We’re continuing to iterate on the Home Screen, including how this space is used and what types of content appear there. We’ve already made the following updates available to Zwifters:
-
Prioritized activity type based on recent activity history, so the Next Up card better reflects what you typically do.
-
Put the For You row back above the fold.
In addition, we’re planning to continue experimenting with the following changes, though we may not roll all of these out:
-
Give incomplete routes a higher weighting within the recommendation.
-
Indicate when a recommended activity relates to a Challenge, such as Route of the Week.
-
Remove the AI-generated recommendation rationale text.
-
Reduce the size of the Challenge cards.
-
Replace the Next Up card with a Challenge card if nothing is planned by the Zwifter.
-
Show some game progression information on the home screen.
On opt-out: the current Next Up opt-out is a temporary workaround while we improve the experience. We added it to reduce disruption for Zwifters who were having a poor experience, but it is not intended to be a permanent separate Home Screen path. Longer term, we need to converge on one default Home Screen experience across the game and Zwift Companion.
That means Zwifters who were manually opted out should expect to be included in the default experience again after we’ve made meaningful improvements. We do not have a date to share yet, and we’ll communicate before that change happens. The goal is not to ignore the feedback in this thread; it is to use it to make the default experience better for everyone.
There are a few other topics not addressed above that the community has discussed. We do not currently have a planned change for these, but we are evaluating our options.
-
RoboPacer selection experience.

Please keep the feedback coming. It is helpful as we continue iterating.

While you’re revamping the home screen, can the selected sort option of the routes be retained?
The one thing that you should take away from the feedback, both here and on the HUD is simple. Allow the Customers to select what they want to see. There is at least one competitor that allows their users to select major items on their HUD (nearby riders, MAP, stats, etc), and like the “Opt Out” requests here, that function is a major ask from your Customers.
