PC, Windows 11. Zwift Crashed when event ended

Hi,

I was in a regular ride event(EZR ride to be exact) and at the end, just a few seconds after it stopped, my Zwift window disappeared. Looks like Zwift crashed. Doesn’t look like my sweat points saved and I assume I lost my mileage even though it shows up at ZwiftP. I looked for the log and found it which I’ve attached as a picture(well the last sets of lines).

Don’t know if this is a regular issue but I did find I was seeing a lot more pauses during the ride where the picture would pause for a few seconds. I’m running a 7700x with a 5070TI so I can’t see it being my pc that’s the problem unless there’s an incompatibility.

I assume I’ve lost the full hour on my bike upgrading and my sweat points?

That doesn’t sound great, especially on the day Windows 10 support just ended.

Never had that issue on my now ancient 10 year old Win 10 rig but I will stick to the Intel and NVidia combo and avoid AMD when I upgrade.

That GPU will be smashing it, I plan to use the GTX 5060 Ti 16Gb.

To be fair, I’ve been using this setup for a few months now and haven’t had an issue. I’ve never had a crash till today. It was just very strange. Wondering if it was something with one of the latest updates. I also don’t regret going with AMD at all. Great processor

That is a fine CPU that should have no problem running Zwift. The first thing I would try is disabling the video screenshots feature which is probably enabled by default in your system.

I also note that there was supposed to be a fix for a Windows crash related to ANT+ devices that came in Zwift 1.99. I don’t know if this is related, but if you send a log file to support@zwift.com they may be able to tell you. You could also remove the ANT+ adapter and see if that improves stability.

Support is also able to award you some of the lost progress such as drops and XP if you ask.
