PC Launcher app blank screen [August 2022]

Just adding to here. I have been getting sporadic blank white screens on the launcher again lately.

The usual failure mode is that the first attempt to launch brings up a white screen.
During a crash the launcher log file ends on
“[10:16:42 2023-02-11] Launcher: Game Update Not Found”

The whole system is then unstable. Dragging windows around leaves traces behind. If I can successfully kill zwift it will open fine on the next attempt.

Intel(R) Core™ i7-1065G7 with 16GB Ram
Zwift Up to Date

This happens both with my internal Iris GPU (which I rarely run with due to the game crashing bug) and on my external GPU (2060 Super 8Gb in a Razer eGPU enclosure)

Mine still does this sporadically. If it does it more than twice in a row I either cancel my zwift ride or uninstall/reinstall. :joy::face_with_peeking_eye:

Same thing happened yesterday to me after not using zwift on my laptop for a year.
First I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it again, which didn’t fix the issue…
Then I noticed my graphics cards needed a driver update. The update fixed it and the app is running well again :slight_smile: Keep ur drivers up to date guys!

I have had this a couple of times after the latest update after months of not having it.

might be coincidence but both times were the first time I had loaded the game on the PC after the update (2 different PCs)
