I hope Zwift are mining the ride dataset to tease out trends during this worldwide health debacle. Somewhat along the lines of Google’s search-keyword trends showing likely increases in flu symptoms in previous years, but the ride dataset has rider age, rough location, and would reveal large-group trends in wattage and time spent training; this might be a decent proxy for the health of the remainder of the population. Maybe? It’d have to be an actual study first, of course.
edit: Oh I guess “location” is just country; I was thinking of Strava. Maybe this is more of a Strava idea. I know they do sell data products gleaned from their database, already.
