Hi,
recently I did some outdoor rides. Afterwards I was was wandering about the XP provided by Zwift for these activities. According to Zwift FAQ, you get 5XP per outdoor km.
Here are my dates:
| Date | Day | Outdoor KM | XP provided acc Companion | 5 XP/km | Wrong ? | Faktor |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 01. Aug | Saturday | 16 | 85 | 80 | Rounding ? | 1,06 |
| 02. Aug | Sunday | 63 | 870 | 315 | Wrong | 2,76 |
| 03. Aug | Monday | 78 | 1000 | 390 | Wrong | 2,56 |
| 04. Aug | Tuesday | 71 | 1000 | 355 | Wrong | 2,82 |
| 05. Aug | Wednesday | 56 | 805 | 280 | Wrong | 2,88 |
| 05. Aug | Thurday | 74 | 750 | 370 | Wrong | 2,03 |
You see, that I get almost 3 times (2.88) the number of XPs that I should get.
Note: The km were measured twice (once on my Garmin Watch and once on my Garmin Edge). I removed the double entries.
On one day (Saturday) the numbers seem to be right - and this was the only day I used only my Garmin Watch. So somehow this may be related.
However, even if this would be the root cause, I would have expected a constant difference of around twice the XP.
So my question: How are the outdoor XP calculated and why are my numbers so weired ?
Thanks !
Br
Oliver
