Purchased my Zwift Ride 6 months ago. Today it is on sale for $300 less with two huge improvements (cranks and saddle setback)… sure would be nice if Zwift would throw us a bone and more recent Zwift ride purchasers could acquire those long overdue improvements without paying full retail price, eh? You know, build in a prorated discount that declines with age… grandfather in a certain time frame… anything that looks less awkward would be a good step.
Products improve with time and iteration.
Prices decline as products become more mainstream.
I recall helping co-workers interested in buying a computer back in the late 90’s. The process was taking a long time, since components were changing rapidly.
They would see how a certain spec’d computer would be cheaper each month.
Or they could see how you could get higher spec’d computer components for the same money.
They would say that they should wait to get a better component for cheaper.
I told them that they would be waiting forever, and that once they decided to buy to not look at prices or specs on computers for 6 months, otherwise they would be upset.
Contact support and ask for a discount. Worst outcome is they say no, and asking is free.
