We noticed that this rider was upgraded to A during his last race on 8/19 (club ladder), however his numbers during that race (and the last years) don’t seem to explain the upgrade. We think it could be something wrong there in the algorithm/logic. Can you please verify this and let us know if the upgrade was expected? He’s a rider of our club/team and we had him signed up into a B team for ZRL, his Zwift id is 2022251
It’s very easy to check why he is in A by him checking his Zwift Feed page at The at Home Cycling & Running Virtual Training App
On the right side you have all the power data from last 90 days as the picture below.
I don’t think there is anything wrong with the algorithm…i’m 100% it’s user error with weight change.
Most likely cause is that someone was using his account and lower the weight and he forgot to change it back and did a Workout and smashed zMAP or zFTP with his normal watts.
All rides count for the upgrade not just races…on Zwiftpower you only see race data.
If you want to share a screenshot of the rider’s profile data like Dejan did (which is private, so only they can make that decision) I could probably explain what happened. Without that, there’s no way to say exactly why they were upgraded.
Tell him to stop changing his weight and email zwiftpower@zwift.com and we will reset his ZRS/Category.
