Since I got the Wahoo Clicker I am limited with the number of BT connections so I can’t use my HR connection. Previously solutions posted don’t work for me. I “Pair with phone” to the power source and use my phone for the companion app. All updated to latest versions.I would really like to find a solution
If the trainer is the original Kickr Core (not the V2 model) then pairing via the Companion app is the only solution. Check this document to see if you are following the process correctly:

This assumes that you got Companion to connect to the game successfully. A good way to tell if that happened is you should see the map appear in Companion when you start a ride, and there should be a Bluetooth icon that appears in the upper right corner of Companion.
Good day. I finally got the clicker and HRM connected through the companion app on my phone. The issue seemed to be with the permissions not set.
Now I have a new issue. The companion app does not pick up the clicker as in the picturebelow. I also do not see it when I click on controls in the zwift app paring screen. I changed the battery on the clicker but no success. It is also not bluetooth connected on any other device. Could it be the clicker itself.
Do you see any LEDs lit on the Click? Is the Click paired to the game when you are trying to access it in the Equipment menu?
This seems like a problem with the battery or battery contact inside the shifter, or a dead shifter. You should contact support ASAP since it might need replacing. You could also open it up and make sure the battery has contact with the terminals, or try another battery, or test the battery if you have a battery tester that works with coin cell batteries.
Thank you for your reply. I checked the battery and it reads 3.7V. It is also inserted correctly so it should make contact. I will contact the supplier tomorrow to hear what they say.
There is a good chance they will send you a replacement but if they offer some other solution I would love to hear about it. Some people have had to bend the contacts, or stick some folded up paper on top of the battery to press it in place.
If you want to ride without the shifter, an ERG mode workout should still be possible since it doesn’t require pairing the shifter.
