No Route Badge?

I rode over 34 km on Tair Dringfa Fech but got no route badge. What happened?

How did you choose the route? Did you make any manual turns?

It looks like you made a manual turn near the end, and stayed on Ocean Blvd, instead of heading towards Fuego Flats and turning to finish at the top of Titan’s Grove.

Hey @Donald_Winston

Thank you for posting on the forums! This is Alejandra from Zwift.

I’ve sent you an email with some details to check. Take your time, and if you have any questions, feel free to reply to that email.

Have a nice day.

I do have steering enabled. I wasn’t paying much attention. I was just pushing the pedals while watching YouTube.

Oh, I didn’t realize you could go off course that easily. I was watching YouTube while pushing the pedals.

depending on what steering device you have, there is a setting in Zwift that can disable route changes made with your steering device, intersection controls I think it is called, turn that off if you can.

There seem to be a number of posts over the years about how easy it can be to get off course if using a steering device, as a slight movement at an intersection can send you off on a different direction. One solution/workaround is to disable steering when trying to get a route badge, just to prevent unintended route changes.
