New MacBook Pro 2023 M2

Hi I’ve been using an Intel MacBook Pro for some time with no issues with running Zwift.

Since moving to a new Mac book Pro 2023 M2 I can not save rides at the end, instead I get a spinning blue wheel that continues for ages and I have to force quit the application.

I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled Zwift and when I look in the documents folder there is no Zwift folder present as there is on my old laptop.

I’ve gone into systems preferences and made sure that within privacy & security / Files and folders / Zwift - Documents folder is set to On.

Any ideas why I cant save? I assume it’s because I don’t have a Zwift folder in documents but not sure why I don’t have one.

Same thing on mine since I have the M2. Did you find a solution?

I did in the end yes. It was Dropbox that was causing the issue for me. I’d migrated from an older Mac and in doing so my documents folder and desktop had been moved to Dropbox via Dropbox backup. Once I unchecked the backup option via the desktop application and moved it back to where it originally was Zwift started saving rides.

If you you use the search function in the top bar for your documents folder you’ll see it’s location at the bottom of the screen. If the location chain involves Dropbox that’s your issue probably
