New HUD in game is awful

I have been using ZWIFT for 3-4 years, and I understand that everything changes. Previously, the new HUD only included power, heart rate, and cadence. Now, this new version contains additional elements that we can configure as we like, but the changes in colors, contrast, and size have made it unclear. It’s different when you’re sitting in front of a monitor, and another thing entirely when you’re riding on a trainer, tired, and can’t fully see what’s displayed because the numbers are too small and blend into the background.
The same goes for information like distance traveled, elevation gain, and time.
Additionally, I use a 27-inch monitor with a 1440p resolution, and earlier, when the size was too small for me, I would change the resolution to 1080p, and the HUD with power/heart rate/cadence, as well as the distance/time data, would get larger. Now, they don’t change size while other elements do, making it terribly hard to read.
Is there a way to enlarge it to make it more readable? Or am I the only one who sees this as a problem, or does it bother others as well?

Yes, the hud is a problem, imo, and one that has existed for 10 years - in the sense that that’s how long people have been posting about it.

Even though they’ve changed it, added to it etc over that time, they’ve never really addressed the core issues with it. Here you are showing it doesn’t pass a simple and obvious test like can riders read the information on it? Cearly for you and others, myself included much of the time, the answer is no. And that is true across many of the devices it runs on (comically ridiculously tiny on some, merely frustrating or annoying on others)

And it’s only partly down to screen size or distance - they have next to useless information in a bigger font than the interesting information - I’m no expert in ergonomics or GUI design but clearly neither is anyone working at zwift. It’s easy to see it’s broken though without being an expert.

Zwift why cant you fix text display size? ( make it user selectable. Small, medium, large, extra large) I use andoid phone screen mirrored to 55" TV. Without my glasses i cant read HUD numbers, other than wattage on top. However, i can drive without my glasses and read signs fine. I can watch sports (olympics, track and field, basketball, etc and read times and scores ) without my glasses and read results and scores fine.

I am very frustrated and close to cancelling subscription because i cant see critical information when racing, training etc. If i had to rank this change i would have to get to number 297 before i would suggest something more critical 1 - 296 most important updates for usability would be display size. I am quite content not to be able to see as much virtual sky, landscape, buildings, etc. So that i can read my numbers.

Please let us turn off the Blue Thumbs and the leader boards.

I tried this before writing the post on the forum, and nothing changed.
I agree with Jeff. There should be three sizes for critical data like HUD (km, time, elevation) and basic data (power, cadence, HR) because this is the foundation of the game.

Here’s a hack to turn off the blue thumbs
