# Name Change

With group riders using name extensions to better identify the members of a group DURING a group ride, it would be very helpful if we could EASILY edit our displayed rider name while riding from the mobile app. &nbsp;This would be a real help. &nbsp; Riders could even change subgroup names during a ride from A to B to C (for WSR) if their pace changes. &nbsp; Thanks. &nbsp;

in fact … It is quite difficult to change your name, let alone mid-ride. I actually cannot even figure out how to do it from my gaming PC. &nbsp;I need to do it from my laptop and the Strava Dashboard. &nbsp; Please can you make it MUCH easier to change your DISPLAY name from both the pairing screen and also in someway mid-ride as well? &nbsp; Thanks. &nbsp;&nbsp;

Maybe it would be easier not to change&nbsp;the name but to choose&nbsp;to join or leave a&nbsp;group/subgroup&nbsp;at the beginning or&nbsp;during the ride?!
