My run avatar would not move, milestonepod paired; no issue with rides

As title.

I paired with milestonepod on my ipad, ran on treadmill, but avatar never moved a bit.

Avatar standing on the side of road for 20 minutes while I was running. I have tried >5 times and never be able to get the avatar moved. Please advise.

Please advise.

A hard reboot of the pod (remove the battery temporarily) worked for me.
