I think it is from teleporting, there were many people cheating the upgrades by teleporting to the tops of large climbs and rolling down for free distance without any actual work, so some limits had to be put in place. I don’t recall exactly what the limits are now, but I’m sure if you just stop teleporting and ride normally it will be fine and your distance will count.
Or it could be other issues, like being logged into Zwift on multiple devices at the same time, could that be a possibility?
Teleporting counts 2 km toward upgrades.
Are you joining another rider who is at the top of a big climb at any point?
Bike upgrade miles are more strictly controlled because of all the people who were misusing features of Zwift (like the teleport) to gain upgrades improperly.
I don’t have all the bike upgrades myself, I don’t even have one halo bike fully upgraded to level 5. I just don’t care. They won’t benefit me anyway.

sounds like he is climbing ahead of the group, descending and then teleporting back to them, likely when they are at the top, so this seems like the issue.

Beate, repeatedly teleporting to a rider at the top of ADZ and rolling down to then teleport to a bot is cheating. You are getting free and fast km rolling down. I’m guessing ZWIFT has implemented measures to stop this type of cheating.
You are fast approaching number 1 on female distance leaderboard using this cheat technique plus huge avg wpk efforts on daily 160km + rides showing power and endurance that most male pros would be envious of. This coupled with very strange heart rate data (not to mention HRM being removed during each ride followed by huge power outputs ) rides not updating to Strava until days later and data looking different to that on your ZWIFT data.

No climbing involved. Just regular teleporting to a rider near top of ADZ and rolling down for cheat free km. Then teleporting to a bot.

So this person is one of the “droppers” I think is how Chris labeled them. Winning at a virtual race but losing in real life. Very sad!
