Macintosh - No Power Ups

I run Macintosh (MacBook Pro) and every time there is a Zwift program upgrade (large or small) I stop getting power ups. The only solution seems to be to delete Zwift, log out of my computer, login as a guest on my computer, open an incognito web page, download Zwift, and reinstall.

This has been going on for well over a year – any other Mac users having this problem (or not!)?

My setup:

MacBook Pro (Retina; 15-inch, Mid 2015)
Procesor: 2.2 GHz Quad Core Inter Core i7
Memory: 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Graphics: Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB

This is all connected to a Saris H3 Trainer.

Whenever I Zwift I use the Zwift Companion App on my iPhone 13 Mini

The Mac and Zwift software are all the latest versions. (Note that this particular MacBook can not be upgraded any farther on the Mac IOS, but this problem long predates the latest Mac IOS versions).

Thanks.

Hasn’t been a problem for me. Which macOS version? I’m on 13.2.1 but didn’t have any issues with Monterey before that.

I’m on Mac and get powerups all the time, but usually the useless “XP” power up that does nothing because I’m at the limit.

I forgot to ask if you’re riding a TT bike in the game. If you are, you will get no power ups, just extra XP at banners. Of course this will be unrelated to game updates.

Good point CJ! I’ll do it in just a second.

Nope – I ride the Tron bike. (But it’s an excellent question! When I first started using Zwift I WAS riding the TT bike, and I couldn’t figure out why I wasn’t getting power-ups, until a friendly forum member like you set me striaght!)

Have never met with such a problem.
