Since the last update, I’ve been experiencing the following bug. Every time I restart Zwift, my avatar is wearing short socks.
I set it to high socks, ride, finish my workout, and close Zwift completely. The next time I start it up, the same problem occurs again.
iPad Version 1.105.3
Same here. MacOS.
@Eric-Schlange-ZI mentioned it in his article.
The Triathlete Bug
It’s been years since this last happened: many Zwifters are reporting that this update has stolen our socks:
What’s actually happened is, our socks have all been set to the lowest possible height, making us all look like triathletes. Very sneaky, Zwift. But we aren’t falling for it! Move the slider up, and you’ll be a roadie once again:

This is a 5 year old bug and it’s hilarious
It also speaks to a general weakness in updates and settings files

Shouldn’t this be moved to “Known Issues” then?
Why are my black level 100 sock transparent?
Confettis still working but no socks visible.
(if I go to garage and select other socks but reselect black socks after its working. but In need it to do it by start of each ride )

Came to report the same bug, very rude since 1.105.3 update Zwift wants to turn me back into a Triathlete!
Nope socks are on Max level just under knee ;-()
Try switching to a different pair of socks, ensuring the sock level is maxed out, and then switching back.

Yes re-selecting the same socks or any others to reset works; but have to do it every ride. Just a small bug that needs squashing.

To clarify: once you update to 1.106, you’ll still want to pull up your socks to your preferred height. They should remain at that height after that.

It’s a bug that frequently happens on updates so it’s worth calling out when it inevitably happens again
