As the Tymewear is just coming out with a method to record and use ventilation for Zones it would be good to be able to link to Ziwft not only with the HRM but also the Ventilation Device so all the data is one place. Visma is using this device and I think you will see others doing the same so simply requesting it be updated to be able to be used when on Zwift.
HI @Tony_Konvalin_SFuels welcome back to the Zwift forums.
Shuji at Zwift HQ here. Thanks for the feedback!
We’re always looking at ways to grow our partner integrations, and this suggestion does seem like it could fit well with our broader work around training and fitness. While we don’t have any updates to share right now, input like this helps us keep an eye on areas that could add value to Zwifters.
Fully agree and would love to see this happen as I’ve also recently purchased Tymewear. The ventilation data are a great compliment to HR . Please can you make this happen @zwift thanks!
Not sure if it is out yet but there was an update, I got it on a Beta so not sure if out yet, so that you can use the Tymewear strap with HR and Ventilation while also paired with Zwift. I did find that it seems I need to make sure Tymewear app is open but have been able to run the Tymewear App, with power, and zwift. Not ideal as data is in two places and Tymewear doe snto show distance but at least I can see the zones in the tymewear app. For sure would be good to see it all in Zwift app.
Would be great if Respiration (breathing frequency) could be added already to the Hub
(also a measuring already available with certain Garmin and Polar HR straps. So quite a big bang for many athletes. Not just Tymewear).
Especially for individuals where breathing is a limiter (e.g COPD patients), this datafield in the hub could be very helpfull. A low hanging fruit so to say
VE-zones like with Tymewear would even be better, but could be a 2nd step. And especially for runners VE-zones are so much more usefull than HR.
all in all, a direct Tymewear connection and/or Hub datafields would be of considerable value (at least for me)
