Level 100 reset

Did anyone else think their level progress bar rest or went backwards after the last update? Im at level 100, was almost to the end of the bar and now its right back almost at the start again?

Even tho there are no more levels than 100, ur bar still resets after reaching “the next level”. So u start all over again at Level 100. Everytime u finish it, u get 50k Drops.

After a few resets, I’ve lost track of where I’m up to. Where can I see/ check how many times I’ve cycled through L100? If not, it should be made readily available info.

That info isnt available. If u upload to Strava u might wanna check the uploaded screenshots, when u cycled through L100.

I don’t think second time onwards triggers an automatic screenshot like normal levelling up. And I don’t rush to take a photo (or even particularly notice) when it loops back to the start.

Your only hope is to look at screenshots from rides, assuming you have taken them, you may be able to trace it.

I keep a record of it on my name (as I’ve seen quite a number of others doing, so I figured I will do the same). That’s quick and easy to do while you are riding using the companion app.

Unfortunately if we got more levels, I doubt Zwift would launch us straight to the level we are already at based on how many times we have looped the progress bar.

Apologies, replied to wrong person!

You don’t have to be catching a screenshot of the actual moment you click over to another 100 level. All you need to do is check screenshots for movement of your progress bar. When it moves from the end back to the beginning you know you have clicked over another 100 level.

Chris is adding his level to his name. If you don’t want to do that you might consider adding, retrospectively, “level 101”, “level 102” etc to your saved activity on ZCA where the change took place. [You can then check level progress very easily in your ZP account under Activities tab]

Since level 100 you have needed 20k xp to go around another level. I’m not sure whether there is any accelerated levelling involved after level 100. If there is not then it should be fairly easy, once you count up how many levels you have passed since reaching level 100, to calculate how many xp you had when you hit level 100. Knowing and recording this figure should make calculating your level in the future a bit easier.[most of us will need 807k xp to hit level 100 but I suspect you had a lot more than that already banked when you hit level 100 ]

All this is a bit cumbersome but until Zwift give you this information cumbersome might be your only option.

What I still find mind-boggling is that (as far as I know) you can’t see how many XP you have until you start a ride and then click the Menu button.
Your XP level is available in many places, but not the number of XP.
Your number of Drops is available in many places.
Your racing score is available in many places.
I’d be happy if someone knows another way to see how many XP you have.

When Zwift did its first XP reset and introduced that whole banked XP fiasco, I am sure I remember seeing the XP shown in the prefs.xml file which showed the real XP, rather than the banked amount.

I cannot find it anymore. I’ll try digging through my records to see if I can find where I found it.

Back then, I was an AppleTV user, so I was never able to dig into any of the config files.
I’m on a MacMini now, and have done a bit of tweaking to some of the config files, but I don’t remember seeing anything about XP.
But then again, I wasn’t looking for XP to be in the config files.
