Ever since about three weeks ago the PC version is really trash. Almost every day it needs an update, then it hangs most of the times on the Preparing for Update. You can also click the let’s go button too. So which is it, preparing for update or lets go…Hangs most of the time.
Mine is working fine, and I don’t believe this is a widespread issue. That sounds frustrating, though. Have you tried reinstalling?

Same. PC version working fine. Updates zip through in a matter of seconds. You wouldn’t be connecting by wifi by any chance? These can take a while. You should wait for the update to finish before clicking the Let’s go button from my experience.

Hi, maybe you have been having the same problem as in
if so the latest update solves that.
Otherwise raise a case with Zwift and include the files under the Zwift/logs directly on the pc
