Today I did the tour de Zwift La Reine course and with less than 1km to go my avatar just inexplicably slowed down or stopped moving altogether even though Zwift was still reporting power (even as high 4-4.2W/kg) whilst still pedalling . I connected my assioma duos and elite nero through a bluetooth dongle and according to zwiftalizer there were 0 bluetooth drop-outs during the entire ride.
Do you have a braking device paired such as Play controls? Sometimes the brakes get stuck on. If that’s what’s happening you can move the Braking Sensitivity slider all the way to the left.
Yes I have but I didn’t touch them but I’ll follow your advice anyway. This was beyond frustrating getting overtaken so close to the finish whilst outputting so much power
If that solves the problem, the controls are probably dying. If you contact support they will probably tell you to try resetting the controls (hold down the big Z power button for 30+ seconds) and verify that the firmware is up to date. It probably won’t help but you can get those steps out of the way before you ask for replacements.
I will leave the settings as they are then and see if the problem reoccurs. I for sure didn’t brake though as I had my hands on the hoods
I had problems with the brakes coming on (by themselves) from time to time. Even happened on the final sprint of a race. That was enough for me. I don’t use the brakes anyway. I just went into settings and turned the brake bias down to zero.
No more problems
