I have just ridden 1 and 3/4 laps of La Boucle with a robopacer however I have not had the Tour Fever completion or route completion bonus. Does anyone have any idea why? Thanks
I recommend contacting support and asking if they think you deserve the route badge.
This is a really common question, and there can be a couple different reasons. First, you may need to do almost two entire laps to get the badge with a robo pacer if you join the pacer shortly after the start of the route and don’t ride through both both the start and finish banners. And second, on some routes it just does not work. Short answer for now is if you want a route badge, do not join a robo pacer to get it. Use an event or a free ride / workout instead.

What did the message say? It’s not unusual to see issues passed to a human if not resolved by the automated response
I replied and it got me through to a human as the AI couldn’t resolve! I’ve now been credited the route completion badge and Tour Fever stage. I’m told it was a network error that occurred at the time I completed the route. Reassuring to know that they can be completed alongside a robopacer! Thanks for your help
Looking into La Boucle route makes me wonder -
If the end of a route is also the lead in to the route does the system recognise you are starting a new full route or does it constantly think you are finishing the route you are on.
Possibly I will need to cycle the route via Robopacer and see how the mini map changes when completing a part route. Will it show the lead in as completed or start again mid route ?
I don’t believe the lead in is considered part of the “official” route. A second time around on a route with a lead in will not show the lead in on the mini map.
La Boucle doesn’t have a lead in either I believe
A few weeks ago I did MontMarte mixer with a pacer, did more than one full lap and didnt get the route badge.
Did it again the following day by choosing the route from the main menu and got the badge as expected.
This happens with a lot of routes, you dont get credit for them with a robopacer. ZHQ hasnt been able to figure it out.
Glad you got the badge but I remain uncertain if network was the reason. You could run into that again even without a network problem, but they are generally pretty responsive to any request for a badge if you actually did the route.
